Rent: Rent can only be paid as one lump sum payment, as two instalments, or by monthly payments (monthly payments by Standing Order ONLY). Details of these rental payment amounts can be seen in the table below:

Rental for one semester only: if you are booking for one semester only you will need to pay rental for the semester in 1 lump sum payment.

Methods of Payment:

  • Payment is by Cash, Credit/Debit card, Irish Cheque or by Bank Transfer.


  • There is a €300 deposit payable when you are making your reservation. This is a security deposit, in case of breakages and other charges which may be incurred during the course of the academic year. This deposit secures your booking for your upcoming stay at Riverwalk, you will receive an email in advance of your arrival to advise when you must pay your first rental payment and your service charge. This deposit will only be refunded at the end of the rental period, minus any outstanding charges. Refunds will be made by Cheque, Card or Bank transfer and will be processed within 30 days of departure.

Service Charge:

  • There is a non-refundable service charge of €150 per student

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you move out of the accommodation during the occupancy period, you will forfeit your deposit and rental paid.
  • If first years students do not get their place in W.I.T. we will refund all monies paid, provided you cancel your booking within three days of the CAO first round offers. Refunds will be made by Cheque, and will be posted to your home address within 30 days of cancellation.
  • Others students who cancel their booking before August 1st will receive a full deposit refund. If you cancel your booking after this date NO deposit will be refunded.

Acceptance of Offers:

A Check in Form, lease agreement will be issued to all students which has to be signed and brought with them on check in along with a photocopy of your Passport.

General Information:

Apartments are fully furnished and kitchens fully equipped. Students must provide their own bed linen, duvet, pillows etc. There is a free Wifi in each bedroom . Electricity is top up as you go with PINERGY.

Nb. It is very important and part of the lease agreement that all tenants of your apartment top up equally between all tenants. If tenants do not contribute to Electricity their lease will be terminated by management.
